Research on studying Silk-Derived Protein (SDP) on in vitro corneal models co-published with Weill Cornell Medical College, University of Illinois – Chicago, and SilkTech in the leading vision research journal IOVS.

Novel research studying the effects of SDP on an in vitro model of a human corneal cell line was collaboratively published with the Weill Cornell Medical College’s Dyson Vision Research Center, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and SilkTech.
